Activity: Cartesian Coordinate System Battleship
Each group will be given a dry-erase centimeter-grid board. They will draw and label a grid with letters (horizontal) and numbers(vertical). They will then draw 5 ships and mark their coordinates. Groups will then take turns calling out co-ordinates. The group with the last surviving battleship wins.
Grades 4-6: Use first quadrant
Grades 7-8: Use all four quadrants
